In this episode we are describing the forms of natural environments to be found in England. We show the main types of woodland, Broadleaf Deciduous and Evergreen Coniferous.
This video shows how these places look in the winter month of February where the deciduous woodland is without leaf. I may do another video showing the same places in late spring to show the changes.
We continue up into an upland moorland region and follow a stream that sees it’s source there!
We describe the commercial usages of such areas – in this case past Lead mining and show a specimen of what is believed to be the Lead ore – Galena or Lead Sulfide (PbS).
